Director, Northeast & Southern Logistics

Responsible for all operational and financial aspects involved in the servicing of 250

Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores via a company owned regional distribution center in

the southern US.

Oversee primary functions of a 750,000 square foot fully automated site including store

replenishment, reverse logistics, e commerce, strategic initiative implementations, and

special projects management.

Lead a diverse team of three manager level direct reports, three manager level indirect

reports, and 10 supervisors with up to 450+ hourly teammates utilizing a Performance

Management and Teammate Engagement philosophy in accordance with the Best Buy

productivity, cost per unit, and culture.

Responsible for the operational and financial aspects of the Supply Chain’s Reverse

Logistics operation at the National Returns Center aimed at supporting Customer

Retention and maximizing company inventory and assets.

Managed the primary functions of the facility including the Advanced Warranty

Replacement & Exchange Program, Retail Returns from all Sales Channels, and Handset

Refurbishment & Repair.

Led a team of 300+ Non Exempt and 25 Exempt employees in a T Mobile “Best Place to

Work” environment with a $21 million annual operating budget.

Ensured internal and external partners were in sync on quality and operational

performance with a singular focus on serving the customer.

Dramatically improved Employee Satisfaction results (from 64% to 86%) and Key

Metrics: Inventory Accuracy (99.97% Cycle Counts in 2007), Inventory Markdowns

(from >$10M in 2004 to $47K in 2007), SOX Controls (100% compliance), Productivity

Improvements (12% to 37% each year) and consistently delivered service levels (99.88%

in 2007).

Felicia and I have been married 32 years. We have five sons ranging in age from 16 to 30
