Summary

Strong multiple industry experience in both private (including oil/gas field) and government IT and non-IT

industries. Companies include AT&T, CSC, IBM, Dell, State of Texas, FTS International. Objective is to

provide skills and experience as a top level systems and network engineer/administrator/analyst in a

Windows/Linux/Unix setting. Ultimately to expand and perfect skills in systems and network engineering and

design. Specific primary interests in Linux/Unix and virtualization technologies.

Have completed the Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) Course. Completed on October 21,

2013. Completion certificate available for view and hard copy upon request. Course administered via Virtual

Training Company (www.vtc.com). Next step is to pass the RHCSA exam for certification.

My past Linux/Unix experience, going back to 2004 professionally has been with Debian based systems. This

had been largely as a network administrator (Wayport and Acumera), for purposes of installing and maintaining

networks based on the Debian kernel. I had been toying with Linux since Slackware in the mid 90s as a

hobbyist while being employed as a professional OS/2 Engineer (IBM and partners) and later an MCSE (CSC).
