Description: Oracle Retail division develops software

for Retail chains like Coles and Best Buy. The software

is used for inventory management and forecast for

stores and warehouses. The project was to make sure the

forecast calculations are correctly done. Testing

included both manual and automation.

building a revenue accounting system for airlines. The

system handles the Sale Data Capture, Flown Data Capture,

Interline Billing, Proration and Accounting for the

airline.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Developed test plans, test cases and test scripts based

on requirements.

Created GUI Maps for the front-end. The GUI map editor

was used to identify all standard GUI objects.

Converted the manual test scripts to automated scripts

using WinRunner from scratch. Created GUI Map Files, GUI

Check Points, Database Check Points, Data driven tests,

Virtual Objects, Exception handling conditions, program

TSL Scripts, and User defined functions in WinRunner.

Proration system that does the most complex business of

airline industry called 'Proration' .The system

incorporates all the IATA rules and regulations, rules

specified in the Prorate Manual Passenger (PMP)

published by IATA and is extremely flexible to the

oncoming Industry changes. The system offers high

flexibility to capture Special Prorate Agreements and

Multilateral Prorate Agreements

The project received the Millennium Award from Mercator

and was proclaimed the best software for Proration by

Olympic Airways.
