• Designed a tunneling and securing system for Endoscopic Neurosurgery to allow surgeons greater range of

motion and the ability to collapse to relieve pressure on brain tissue

• Developed full design and prototype to test and validate and generate full report outlining our research, design

process, testing methods, and results on team of four

• Created computer model of brain tissue to test design alternatives using finite element analysis (ANSYS)

Assistive Shelving Insert for People with Disabilities, WPI Jan-March 2014

• Fully design new shelving unit to assist people with disabilities to reach higher shelves

• Completing the design process by defining specifications, developing design alternatives, test/validate design,

and prototype final design

• Designing product for specific targeting market of elderly people design must me compliant with the needs

of the user

Biomedical Engineering Design, WPI Sep.-Oct. 2012

• Designed a non-electric breast pump for third world use in a design process team of three

• Created complete model in Solidworks and a prototype using rapid prototyping along with other techniques

• Observed and analyzed students at the Melbourne Zoo to determine the effectiveness of three educational

delivery models and developed an evaluation system to be used to assess the students’ learning
