Town Recorder-

Town of Smithfield - Smithfield, WV - 2008 to Present

Acting Recorder/Clerk for the Town of Smithfield. This is a state government position,

inwhich I was elected into.

Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist -

Partners in Corporate Health - Morgantown, WV - 2003 to 2007

Perform health screens on all WV state employees. Recorded vitals, performed

venipunctures and bone density.

Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist -

North Marion Medical Associates - Mannington, WV - 2001 to 2003

Performed all nursing procedures that included things e.g. recording vitals, registeration,

ekg's, billing, injections, assisted with GYN procedures, sutures, phlebotomy etc.

Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist -

Sistersville General Hospital, Sistersville, WV - 2000 to 2001

Performed venipunctures and finger sticks. Obtaining a throat culture, preparing a direct

smear, streaking an agar plate, preparing a slide from culture grown in an Agar plate,

gram staining a slide, hematocrit test, blood glucose test with a glucose meter, blood

glucose. * Point of Care Tester, by this achievement I have learned the skills in

performing test under the supervision of a lab tech in the fields of serology, urology,

hematology, chemistry, coagulation, urinalyses, urine cultures, blood cultures, rpr's, ana's,

mono, strep, cross matching blood types, urine drug screens and pregnancy testing.

Behavior Management Specialist -

Evergreen Behavioural Management System, New Martinsville, WV - 1992-2000

Assisted individuals with behavioral disorders in trying to live and cope with ordinary

daily living. Support counsler and worked with DHHR in child safety.
