Upon the recommendations of my colleagues, family, and friends, I am sending my resume

i n response to the job posting, as advertised online. With over 25 years of wide-ranging

experiences in the customer service arena as well as my formal University t raining makes

me an idea candidate for this position.

I am a multi tasked individual and have served in several capacities at H illsborough

Academy over the past fourteen years. Currently this facility houses High Risk Female

offenders’ ages 14-21 years of age. I have the grave responsibility of working at Master

Control, monitoring the cameras of the facility, ensuring the safety and security of the

detained youth as well as the staff, identifying and reporting prospective problems or areas

of concern, t ransporting youth to predetermined appointments/locations, and

supervising/working hands-on with the youth of the facility.

I have a vast amount of experience in the day to day operations of companies’ as well superb

customer service skills. I enjoy working with others and assisting as needed. In my previous

experiences, I was often the first point of contact for customers in large retail stores, Maas

B rothers and Montgomery Ward as well as Humana Health. I have a pleasant personality

and aim to ensure customers or clients have great experiences when partaking in the

services of my employer. In my current position at Hillsborough Academy, I am the fi rst

point of contact for any individual who calls or comes into the facility. Regardless of the

t ype of business rendering a service, I believe in the words of Albert Einstein, “Only a life

l ived in the service to others is worth living”.
