-As the Receiving Manager, I lead in the smooth and efficient operation

of the receiving department in cooperation with direction from the Store Manager.

Checking in DSD vendors, warehouse trucks and other common carriers (such

as Fed Ex) following the company's receiving management system, to

include complete scanning of all received product to ensure an invoice

match. Must take note of shortages, NIFs, damages and mispicks.

Responsible for gathering and leading the team that assists in the

processing of the product to the proper department, to involve the

authority to direct team members in regards to receiving and storage of

product.

Ensure proper paperwork is processed and submitted regarding receiving in

reporting credits, NIFs or mispicks.

Ensure that back room is organized and clean, direct and lead team

members when needed including checking coolers for organization and

proper storage; maintaining recycling program and shopping cart

usage/storage.

Responsible for back door security of the store, related to product as

well as people.

04/2011 - 10/2011 Loader/Forklift/Clamp Truck Operator, MTD Products,

DIST; Parma, OH

MTD Products, DIST is one of two Distribution Centers for MTD Products,

it is located in Parma, OH.

- Responsibilities include: Loading and unloading of Tractor Trailer

Trucks which carry various loads of MTD products including Lawn Mowers

and Snow Throwers of various sizes. Using Pick Ticket, pick inventory

and with the RF Scanner remove from inventory and ready to ship. Create

Shipping Labels as well as Packing List and Bills of Lading. Using a

Fork lift or a Clamp Truck, move inventory from Dock and load the

trailer or Export Container.

- For unloading, I am responsible for taking the product off the trailer

and placing it in its proper location using an RF Scanner, signing the

driver in and out, and finalizing the paperwork.

- Responsible for Daily Inventory of all stock that can be shipped, stock

that is on hold, and empty locations that can be utilized for various

product. Create an “Inventory Move Sheet” that gives loaders a cheat

sheet to make picking easier and faster.

- As the Bulk Captain it was my responsibility to manage the Receiving

area pallet spaces for the incoming trucks, bulk seasonal items (i.e.

patio furniture, Christmas trees, etc.), vendor product, and bulk

storage for store items. I managed Bill of Lading paperwork for the

trailers that were taking product back to Distribution Center.
