1. Built and shape wax teeth using small instruments and
information from observation or dentists’ specification.
2. Create a model of patient’s mouth pouring plaster into a
dental impression and allowing plaster to set.
3. Prepare wax bite blocks and impression trays for use.
4. Polished and grind finished products.
5. Set up dentures and partials.
6. Ability to follow detailed instructions in selecting,
setting, and articulating teeth.
7. Ability to process, finishes, and polishes dentures.
8. Constructs new dental appliances by selecting and
setting up acrylic or porcelain teeth using dental wax
articulator, and various waxing instruments according to
dentists, prescription.
