Performed duties of the removal of rust, scale, paint, corrosion and foreign matter from metal and
nonmetal items ranging in size from moderate to large complex item utilizing equipment such as
automatic blasting bays, nozzle blasting chambers, nozzle blasting booths etc.
Operated abrasive blasting equipment to clean rust, scale, paint, corrosion and foreign matter from metal
and nonmetal surfaces.
Controlled pressure and abrasive by manipulating valves angles and distance of nozzle etc. to produce
desired results.
Assured that the proper abrasive i.e. metal grit, metal shot, seed, glass bead etc. and/or consistency of
combined abrasives were used on the various surface to produce the desired finished product.
Disassembly, repair or replacement, and assembly was accomplished using various hand tools. When
leaks were detected, disassembly, repair, replacement and assembly was accomplished as necessary. All
gaskets, plates, screws, fittings, and sending units were replaced during this process. After repair and
assembly, all items were re-tested before release.
Inspected for leaks, drained antifreeze, flushed system before parts could be remove. All antifreeze, flush
materials were caught and stored in hazardous waste drums. Parts, assemblies were removed as necessary
in order to make connections to test equipment. Repairs and replacements were made to hoses,
thermostat, heater core assembly, gaskets, etc. as necessary Blasted M872,.Bolster,.915 frame,916 frame,
