Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of production for two

shifts in five different departments (Cores, Coils, Winding,

Dip, and Test) in a lean manufacturing environment. Lead a team

that consists of 3 supervisors, and 126 hourly employees made up

of both direct and indirect labor. My operating budget is $12

million per year. My major objectives: provide a safe

Implement improvements to meet and exceed the department goals.

Other duties: set yearly budgets based off of (forecast,

overtime, and depreciation of machines), perform HR functions

(interviewing, hiring, corrective actions, terminations, FMLA,

training, annual level increases, grievances, disciplinary

action). Determine the headcount and overtime to meet production

demands.

Reduced lost time injuries by 45%

2009 - 2011 Siemenes Manufacturing Supervisor Coil Department

(Norwood, Ohio)

Responsible for 20 production employees.

Responsibilities: Safety, Productivity, Utilization, 6S,

Delivery Reliability.

Accomplishments:

Cost savings of $100,000 per year on hand taping

2006-2009 Siemens Area Manufacturing Manager (Bellefontaine,

Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of production for three

shifts in four different departments, totally over 400 hours of

production per day. To obtain this rate of production, I lead a

highly motivated team consisting of five supervisors, two

industrial engineers, three set-up operators, two inspectors,

In 2009 the plant closed and moved to Mexico.
