Skills and Accomplishments
ASME Y14.5 GD& T certification
Drawing Development and Review. Signed as engineer responsible for form fit, function and safety on
critical developmental military hardware for the M777 weapon system.
Concept Generation and Presentation in ProEngineer. Developed solid and concept models of electric
make breaks as well as artillery tubes. Conducted engineering analysis to ensure robust design using
analytical techniques as well as numerical methods to validate design.
Oversight and planning of developmental and operational testing of military hardware in a live fire
environment. Responsible for ensuring testing is conducted safely and fully validates safety, reliability
and performance of hardware under test.
Lead a cross functional engineering team in development of complex products. This task required work
loading multiple engineering technicians, conducting design reviews, interfacing with customers and
users to ensure development process is aligned with customer expectations.
Lead mechanical engineer on a full bore chrome artillery tube project. Responsibilities included
interfacing with production management as well as research experts to develop and implement new
manufacturing processes to support the post production plating process. End result was successful test
firing of two prototypes with a follow on order for additional production pieces.
Conducted flow analysis and piping system design for jet fuel (JP5) for the US Navy as part of the
development effort for the Ford class of US Nuclear Carriers.
