WORK EXPERIENCE

Systematically and continuously assess client’s knowledge base and physical, psychosocial and spiritual

health through physical assessment and data collection reporting and documenting any neurological and

physical changes in clients to physicians on a monitored unit.

Assist physicians in the insertion of central lines, PICC lines, and intubation of endotracheal and

nasogastric tubes.

Facilitate in dressing changes and wound care of central lines, decubitus ulcers, tracheostomies,

ileostomies, and colostomies.

Perform oral care, tracheostomy care, and suctioning of mechanically ventilated clients.

Manage clients undergoing dialysis, receiving blood transfusions, and under ventilation.

Interpret critical lab values and report to physician providing immediate medical intervention if required.

Collaborate with fellow nurses and physicians during medical rounds to discuss client plan of care and

ensure optimal treatment for improving client outcome.

Initiate and titrate intravenous drips according to unit’s protocol keeping within parameters of physician’s

orders while monitoring client’s vital signs.
