Assistant Store Manager (Jun 2003 – Feb 2014)

• Oversee all daily operations of a high volume retail facility producing $27-$30 million in annual sales. Direct and

supervise and train approximately 100 full time and part time employees engaged in sales, customer service, inventory-

taking, site security, shipping and receiving and overall maintenance.

• Proactively identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select candidates. Schedule, coordinate and conduct 3-day

new employee orientation program to foster positive attitude toward company goals and objectives.

• Enforce safety, health, and security rules throughout the facility and take immediate corrective actions on any safety

concerns noted. Act as chairperson for the facility safety committee holding monthly meetings and coordinating monthly

inspections of all departments, by committee members.
