Customer A350 – XWB Lower Deck Cargo Door Design:

Korean Airlines

Involved in the A350 -900 lower deck cargo doors MAT- A/ B and C phases, which

South Korea includes the preliminary, concept and detail design for manufacturing. Specific on

composite and metallic component design activities such as design configuration

study/ weight saving tasks/ fastener selection/ modeling/ drafting/ tolerance analysis

(mechanism rigging, part and assembly) and feasibility studies.

A350 – XWB Lower Deck Cargo Doors Testing:

Involving in the A350 -900 lower deck cargo doors qualification and certification test

activities compliance with the EASA part C.S 25 and FAR part C.25. Specific on

functional qualification of the door mechanism/ worst jamming load (limit and

ultimate) test of the handle (latch and lock) mechanism chain/ endurance test of door

operating system (mechanism and structure related parts). Status of the test TC (Type

certification) cycles were (22,250) completed and reports were prepared, continuously

the test is running for the full designed cycle (259,200/ 180,000).

Involved in the Bulk Cargo Door stop fitting hybrid (composite and metallic)

structural joint engineering test.

Customer 747 -8 Krueger Flap Design (MBD):
