Executive Management Consultant (2007-Present)

Consultant engaged in helping companies to develop strategic plans and leverage technology . This includes the use of

computer-mediated human communication systems for collaboration and training/education. IT Enterprise consulting

in heterogeneous (Unix/Legacy/Win) infrastructure. Responsible for project management/PMO oversight, contract

negotiation, grant and proposal development, specifications design, SOW development & oversight, product testing and

sales training.

Work also includes Pre-IPO advisor/Project Manager, technology-based intellectual property valuation and pricing.

Numerous Think Tank engagements with private/public entities and consulting firms.

InfrAegis (Formally Intel Agents) @ Argonne National Labs (2003-2006)

Chief Technology Officer and Project Manager @ Argonne National Labs project related to radioisotope detection using

adhoc mesh/dynamic sensor networks. NDA still in effect.

VulcanGate (2000-2004) Software development subsidiary of Vulcan Microsystems.

Designed/built web and database development projects ranging from an intelligent -agent-based web-crawler/search

engine project (using internal innovations with technologies from Sun, IBM’s DB2 and WebSphere), to database-enabled

web sites for e-commerce and corporate intranet portals. Managed teams of Java programmers, graphic designers,

and client/project representatives.

Vulcan Microsystems (1998-2004)

Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vulcan, managed all technical and consulting operations. Managed executive-

level relationships with fortune 500 executives, including Carnival Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean, Perry Ellis

International Bank of America and others. Responsible for growth to $18M in sales. Negotiated VAR contracts with IBM,

Oracle, StorageTek, Hitachi, and Sun as a top-tier Enterprise Elite StarFire-certified SUN Microsystems Partner.

Vulcan was also Sun iForce Education Partner for South Florida. Responsible for the Edu Systems Sales and

Engineering team which specialized in thin client and datacenter solutions. Clients included FIU, University of Miami,

Dade County Schools, St. Thomas, Nova and other Florida State and Private Universities. Vulcan also sat on the

technology advisory committee for Florida Atlantic University.

Vulcan obtained technical Unix Enterprise certifications from Sun, earning "Enterprise Elite Systems Engineer."

Obtained WebSphere and DB2 administration certifications from IBM, and additional certifications from Oracle,

Exabyte, Hitachi, NetScape, Citrix, Nortel, and others.

Vulcan received comprehensive training and certifications from IBM and Sun. At the time Vulcan was the only VAR

Vulcan was selected by Sun Enterprise Services to represent Sun on the $5M+ Carnival Cruise Lines enterprise

Vulcan created and ran the exclusive: "The South Florida Storage Area Network Symposium" with 300+ corporate

executives and IT managers as paid attendees, 12 Fortune 500 vendors, Vulcan provided three days of technical

sessions and training.

Represented IBM and Sun as a presenter/lecturer on database/web integration and server database sizing and tuning

at national and international technical conferences including HPC Benchmarks (2000-2003).
