Nana’s House Learning Center, 10/13 – 01/14
• Toddler Class Lead Teacher – Maintain a class of children between 16 month to 24 months. Plan
lesson plans and curriculum. Write newsletters and parent memos. Teach age appropriate curriculum.
Accurately manage a timed schedule. Feeding, changing diapers, assisting in potty training, teaching
manners, motor skills, and basic education.
La Petite Academy, 10/12 – 10/13
• Floating Teacher – Assist in providing child care and education to children of all ages between
8weeks up to 10 years old, this includes but is not limited to, feeding, changing diapers, potty
training, teaching curriculum based studies, maintaining all classrooms while lead teachers are
conducting class, making sure all classes stay with in teacher –student ratio and merging classes
when the ratio is off. Talking to parents and assisting them in what they may need help with when it
comes to their children. Keeping daily records, attendance, take home sheets, incident reports etc.
Private Child Care, 2008 – present
• Full Time Nanny – present. Take care of a 2 year old girl. Enjoy daily educational activities with her. Take
her to museums and parks. Make sure she eats well balanced meals and takes a nap, etc.
• Nanny – Full time nanny for one infant until he turned 2. 2008 2010 Took care of him in my own home
and took care of all his basic needs. Transported him to appointments, play dates etc. Helped teach
motor skills and took him out to museums parks etc.
• Part Time Child Care Provider 2008 2010. Weekend Nanny for two boys. One was an infant until he
was two. The other was 8 10 years old. Taking care of basic needs, transporting to sports games.
• Part Time Nanny – 4 days a week. Two 2 3 year old girls 2009. Took care of basic needs as well as
transporting them to fun places like museums and parks, they were incredibly advance, arts and
crafts, reading and writing, computer time, science and math tutoring etc.
• Full Time Nanny – 2 teenage girls 16 years old. One needs more supervision than the other, keeping
an extra eye on them, tutoring in all subjects, making sure school work is complete. Emergency
contact, transporting to and from appointments, school events and any other needs. They are old
enough to take care of their basic needs but I have to make sure they are fed.
First United Methodist Preschool, 02/09 – 12/09
Teacher Assistant Assist in providing child care and education to children between the ages of 2 to 5 in a
preschool setting, this includes but is not limited to, maintaining a classroom, feeding, changing diapers, assisting
in potty training, teaching manners, motor skills, basic education such as phonics, preschool level math,
environmental science, foreign language and other everyday tasks.
First United Methodist Church, 08/08 – 12/09
Nursery Attendant Run the church nursery while church or church based events were in session, this includes
but is not limited to, maintaining and stocking the nursery of all needed products and making sure it was properly
sanitized, caring for children between the ages of newborns and 3 years old, teach basic bible school stories, and
provide activities to be completed, as well as feeding changing diapers and other basic care needs.
Bible Study Teacher Teach bible study classes to children between the ages of 8 and 11, this includes but is not
limited to teaching bible script, providing activities, games, readings and any other projects related to the topic of
study, as well as maintain a classroom
Event Coordinator Assistant Assist in the planning, sponsoring, preparing, setting up, running, and breaking
down of all church related events and school related events. Running kids stands, bake sales, craft shows,
fundraisers, weddings, funerals etc. I have done everything there is to do when it comes to planning and
