Work Experience
Fusion (Allianz Global Assistance), Richmond, VA 2012 - current
Software Developer for QA
Development of an Integrated Test Suite Application to be used in functional and regression testing for the main
product offered by the company. The Suite test over 14.5 million scenarios covering in one day tests which
otherwise would be performed by other means in several weeks or even months.
Working platform for the above was C#, C++, Groovy and Java Scripting, Oracle MSSQL and MySQL. Among
tools used for defect research and defect reporting: SQL Developer, Todd, Heidi MySQL, MS Office suite through
ODBC connections, VBA on Excel and VBA on Access and Word, Visual Studio 2010, soapUI, loadUI, XML,
Xquerry, in-house developed tools.
I was part of the team in charge with the advance of the development tools, computing equipment upgrades and
programming techniques development. Prepared and instaled software solutions by evaluating system specifications
and determine design solutions acordingly. I improved QA operations by recomending changes in policies and
procedures, workflow and coverage studies.
Digital Matrix Corporation, Long Island, NY 2001 - 2011
Manager Information Technology

• Field instrumentation, control system installation and implementation expertise in all of the project phases:
requirements documentation, detailed design generation, implementation, system integration and testing and
on-site startup.
• Planning and coordinates technical design and engineering implementation of project work.
• Design, configuration, integration and implementation of process control solutions for various industries.
• Develop P&IDs and loop descriptions for various plants, processes, and/or equipment.
• Develop User Requirement Specifications.
• Develop software and hardware design specifications.
• Evaluate operational feasibility by qualitative analysis, proper problem definition, requirements, solution
development, and proposed solutions.
• Design, write, implement, test and document automation software.
• Hands-on Programming.
• Develop control system validation/testing protocols.
• Specify and purchase process instrumentation.
• Specify and purchase PLCs, drives, and other electrical components and equipment.
• Develop electrical panel schematics.
• Develop scope of supply documents.
• Assist with estimates of man-hours required to complete projects.
• Manage automation projects as assigned.
• Monitor progress of projects.
• Install, test, and start-up control systems on-site.
• Train operators and engineers on control systems.
I had a concurrent role in creation of applications used on CD&DVD replication machines, Hologram Machines,
Semiconductor Wafers and Nanotechnology Machines, built on site in addition to the common MIT duties.
Overseen development of applications roadmaps under VB Studio, Delphi, C/C++, VBA, MySQL, Oracle, MS
SQL used on fully computerized industrial manufacturing machines and equipment. Managed software
development for rectifiers and automation used by galvanic processes. Worked on my own, as part of a team or as a
team leader, depending on the project and my advance in the company hierarchies.
I had also a concurrent role in development of an automated solar tracking application (SolarTrac) the ultimate
automatic, computerized Window Management® System; responsible with BacNet Integration and OPC. SolarTrac
is state-of-the-art, PC-based, programmable and controller based technology which fosters energy savings in
buildings by maximizing the amount of daylight and views to the outside; it protects occupants from brightness,
glare, and the uncomfortable effects of solar-heat gain, reduces the need for artificial light and air
conditioning, thereby providing a more energy-efficient environment and offers effective window management
solutions that work as a prerequisite to day lighting. SolarTrac is a part of the building management systems for
hundreds of business buildings throughout the world like New York Times HQ, Goldman Sachs HQ, LEED®
Platinum-rated U.S. Green Building Council in Washington, D.C. or The Shard building in U.K.
Responsibilities: Modeling and implementing multi-tiered applications, applying background and understanding of
web and database programming, client-server programming, hardware level programming, including multi-tiered
application architecture and development for advanced client-server and web technologies. Created and maintained
high quality architecture and design documents including feature specifications, design specifications, flow
diagrams, site maps, and process diagrams. Interacted with customer and internal teams to gather requirements and
develop software solutions and technical design requirements & estimates, overseen design requirements from
concept through to completion (development, document, test, deploy, and debug).
