1) Project Title:
Finite element modeling of Body in prime for many FNA model builds for
durability and NVH analysis
> Leading the many BIP models for meshing and coordinating with the
team.
> The BIP assemblies like Front Floor, Rear Floor, Roof, Body side
outer, front and rear bumper, Front end, Fenders are Built and
assembled.
> Preparing separate file for each assembly and assigning work to
the team members.
> Planning and estimating hours for the project execution.
> Final review related to meshing and preparing quality check
sheets with respect to CAD and also with respect to elements
failure.
> Final reviews with respect to penetration, free edge, mesh
quality etc.
> Assigning materials for the shell elements.
> Creating gumdrops, structural adhesive, weather strip, spot weld
etc. for each assembly wise for Nastran deck.
2) Project Title:
Finite element modeling of closures for many FNA model builds
for durability and NVH analysis.
> The closures assemblies like Front door, Rear door, Hood and lift
gate was Built and assembled.
> Creating Gum drops, Structural adhesive weather strip and spot
weld Connection.
> Latch and Hinge connections.
> Assigning proper materials for the elements.
3) Project Title:
Finite element modeling of commercial vehicles for FOE and FOT
model builds for Durability analysis.
> Finite element modeling of sub-assemblies. Ex: Closures, BIP.
> Creating spot welds, seam weld structural adhesive, Bolt
connections and sub assembly files are assembled with part tree
structure in hyper mesh
> Assigning proper material properties for the elements
> Preparing mass comparison and properties comparison sheets for
the reference.
4) Project title:
Finite element modeling of side door for durability analysis.
> Finite element modeling of Doors (Front and Rear Doors) with
hemming by using ANSA.
> Final review with respect to quality failure, free edge,
undefined materials etc.
> Assigning proper material properties.
> Creating spot welds, mastic beads, mastic daubs, structural
adhesive, gum drops, bolt connection, latch connection, Hinge
connections with respect to client information.
> Calculating stiffness values for CBSUH ( Axial and Shear
stiffness)
> Debugging Spot weld data.
> Final review and preparing properties comparison sheet for the
reference.
