oil filters, and look for other worn parts that may need replaced. Kept logs as to when these preventative maintenance was completed. Get part numbers out of equipment service books and called in to shop so they could be ordered and shipped to wherever I was. Replaced all different machine components from diesel engines, gear boxes, transmissions, pumps, regulators, engine air compressors, pins, bushings, bearings etc. Replacing broke or cracked parts by grinding and welding back to working order. Trouble shooting by isolating problem, whether it's checking to see If I have power to certain parts with a meter, air building pressure, is it getting oil, air, fuel, etc

Weld bracing, angle, channel and sheet metals with a mig welder to make different types of brackets to hold piping into permanent position. Cut and thread pipe schedule 80 and 40 to size. Install new ball valve, needle valves, pressure operating valves and actuators, all different types of oil and gas regulators. Use many different hand tools.
