Advance Routing protocols configuration with BGP load sharing, Traffic manipulation at ISP end,

Through configuring the QoS, ACL and Policy-Based Routing, achieved different priority traffic and

guaranteed services between various network entities.

Monitored and maintained network status and performance by monitoring tools, troubleshooted,

resolved complex network problems.

Performed 6 Month long cisco IP RAN POC for a Major SP in Sri Lanka with Different Mobile

Vendors (Huawei,ZTE,Erricssion and Alcatel) and successfully completed

Tech lead of the supporting team for large Enterprises and SP Networks.

enterprises using products from Cisco & Juniper.

Implementation of Cisco ASA / FWSM/PIX, which includes configuration of internal, external, DMZ

& other security zones, security policies, Objects, Remote access VPN, SSL VPN, Site to site VPN,

NAT & PAT.

Dialog Telkom ltd – Completed (Sep 2007 –June 2008)

This is the First CRS-1 Deployment in South Asian region. Expansion and restructuring of Current

Network into NGN which will be suitable for transporting Mobile traffic. Contributed as Implementation

Engineer, and then worked as an onsite support Engineer for 3 months.

ISP Restructuring

Dialog Telkom Ltd – Completed (Sep 2007 – March 2008)

Contributed as Design and Implementation Engineer for Restructuring the ISP Network which consists

of Cisco GSR/7600/7200 Routers.

Engaged as a member of Implementation team, Fresh MPLS Network Implementation for Wireless

Architected the Total WAN Network of the Bank using Cisco Devices (Notel Devices have been

replaced).Complete rearrangement .Engaged in Designing and Implementation.

Mini DSLAM implementation with ADSL2+

Adtran mini DSLAM devices and ZTE CPs to give guest internet access in Villa type environment..

Engaged as a member of design and implementation team and main support engineer for the system.

Design and implemented the Head office core network with Cisco 6500+FWSM at the core and other

As a key engineer in design and implementation team I was responsible for supervising infrastructure

teams, Installation and configuration of the devices, working with Cisco Advanced services teams during

the NRFU and customer migrations.

This is the first Sri Lankan mobile backhauling project and it includes various cisco new technologies and

interoperability testing with other mobile venders.
