Security Manager

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Security Department, which includes

developing and implementing Security policies and procedures for both

industrial and physical security. Facility Security Officer ensuring

requirements of the NISPOM are implemented and in compliance. Process and

update security clearances via JPAS. Oversee proprietary Security Officers

and contract Security Officers, and insure they receive proper training to

conduct scheduled tours of buildings, piers, parking lots and grounds.

Train Security officers on how to run the CCTV system. Manage a

comprehensive security program to protect all personnel, resources and

information. Comply with all federal and state requirements as pertain to

security matters. Maintain close working relationship with local police and

fire departments. Assist and advise leadership, supervisors and managers on

security issues. In 2012 and 2013 received commendable ratings during CMSDs

Defense Security Services Assessment Reviews.

Worked as a Security Analyst with increasing responsibilities that included

the development of procedures for the safeguarding of materials and assets,

and oversight the construction of closed areas to ensure physical security

standards met JAFAN 6/9, or ICD 75. Moreover, worked in concert with

program managers and government officials to ensure schedules were achieved

within allocated budget. Programs received outstanding ratings during

compliance reviews in all areas during my tenure. During 1988-1999, I was

responsible for security evaluations and inspections of over 30
