Solar Turbines Incorporated - July 2008 to November 2010

for all Solar Field Operations in the Gulf of Mexico and adjacent states.

This position was intensely gas and petroleum focused. It required working with multiple customers to ensure

program effectiveness, personnel safety and incident coordination. Working with HR and IT, I used my previous

experience to accomplish the following in just a couple of years:

• Migrated the safety training system to an online automated system that can generate reports and KPIs.

• Created Business Case Analysis models to gain funding for multiple projects to show savings.

• All projects went through six-sigma process

• Created multiple compliance programs

• Worked with Corporate Medical and Technical Training to get all pipeline service personnel compliant with

DOT PHMSA training, competency and medical requirements.

• Certified authorized trainers to deliver safety training regionally

• Created a model for training delivery that reduced overlap of multiple requirements and saved a net $3.6

million annually

• Increased strategic partnerships with external customers to reduce common safety issues in the field (access

issues, LOTO, airborne exposures, etc .)

• Developed and implemented a database driven Behavior-Based Safety system program to identify common

problems and re-focus efforts
