Provide Project Engineering services to Engineer, Procure, and Construct (EPC) many
domestic and international off-shore oil and gas platforms, chemical, and LNG plants.
Typical systems consist of: C and KU Band Stabilized Satellite System, Distributed
Satellite Entertainment Television (ETV) System, Paging and General Alarm (PAGA)
systems, Automatic Weather Observation System (AWOS), Underwater Sonar security
systems, Fiber Backbone and Structured Cabling, Radio Systems: UHF Platform Radio

present)
Function as a Lead Industrial Security Engineer for the Access Control System design for
Shah Gas Development in Untied Arab Emirates. Shah, about 180 kilometers (112 miles)
from the city of Abu Dhabi, poses a technical challenge because the plant sits in an
extremely hot location with large sand dunes and sand storms. Shah, scheduled for
completion by the third quarter of 2014, and when complete will cost $10 billion dollars,
process 1 billion cubic feet a day of sour gas into about 500 million cubic feet of fuel
daily, 4,400 tons of natural-gas liquids a day, 35,000 barrels a day of condensates and
9,200 metric tons a day of sulfur.
Chevron, Jack & St. Malo, Gulf of Mexico (Project Engineer, 2011-2013)
Provide Project Engineering services to Engineer, Procure, and Construct (EPC)
Telecommunications Systems for Semi-Submersible, deep-sea production vessels.
Specific tasks included the design of an Access Control System on the platform to be
used for Person On Board (POB) mustering. Additionally, a CCTV system is being
engineered with explosion proof cameras for use in hazardous areas in accordance with
the American Petroleum Institute (API-RP-14F) and the National Electric Code (NEC
Ch. 5) hazardous area classification requirements. When complete, the Jack and St. Malo
fields will be in water at depths of 7,000 feet. The initial development of the project will
require an investment of approximately $7.5 billion. Startup is anticipated in 2014.
