1: Texas ES conversion:

Environment : C,Java, Unix and MS SQL server 2005

Testing Approach : Manual testing

Project Description:

Texas ES conversion is an SI project which went on for two years. I worked

in this project for an year. The software was developed for the lottery

domain. Lottery domain has multiple games which involves both online and

instant tickets.Instant tickets are sold through ITVM machines. We provided

a complete software solution for the Texas lottery. I was involved

intesting the GUI applications, backend applications using unix box and BI

reports. The software helps the lottery in creating retailers, draws,

winner information etc.

My Contribution:

> Designing Test cases after analyzing the requirements.

> Performed the functional, GUI testing.

> Performed Smoke Testing.

> Performed Regression testing.

> Reported the defects and validated defects.

> Performed regression testing to validate the resolved defects on every

build.

> Updating of test cases based on the implementation changes.

This is an SD batch. A batch is a mini project that goes for a short

duration to cover the additional requirements in the product environment.

My responsibility is to test all the RFSS for the particular batch. This is

my first batch and I got the client award for this batch. I delivered this

batch without any post live issues.

This is a healthcare/insurance project. We test the new enhancements in the

application and if any issues arises in production department, that would

be given higher priority and testing activities will be carried out. I am

mainly involved in performing ETL testing using Datastage, backend tasks

using oracle. The software helps the billing vendors from saving the

patient details till the amount collection from the insurance department.
