WORK SUMMARY AND EXPERIENCE

Thirty (30) years' experience in Quality includes twenty-six (26) in the

Automotive Industry, of which, sixteen (18) were in Quality Management and

eleven (11) in Quality Engineering. This experience in tier I Multiple-

plant operations has enabled me to be very versatile in establishing

policies to prevent or resolve quality management system difficulties.

The processes I have worked with include: supply chain management &

supplier development, internal & external quality auditing, internal &

external training, lean manufacturing, automotive assembly, metal stamping,

welding, injection molding, machining, forming, ceramics, electronic

components and shielding, air bag filter manufacturing, plating, wire

forming / drawing, corrugated fiberboard, product testing and development,

electrical distribution equipment testing, metallurgical analysis, failure

analysis and Nuclear power plant operations.

July 01 to Present: Self-employed Manufacturing, Quality and Environmental

Performance Consultant and Trainer. I am directly involved in and provide

training in all areas required by ISO-9000:2000; ISO-14001, ISO/TS-16949,

Lean Manufacturing, Problem Solving and numerous Continuous / Process

Improvement activities. I work through several different Educational

Institutes as well as my own business. I am the Director of Quality for a

large Corrugated Fiberboard Manufacturing Company located in Southern

Illinois (contracted).

July 98 - June 01: Corporate Director of Quality for National-Standard,

Niles, MI. Director of Quality for a 250 million dollar company with nine

(9) QS-9000 Registered facilities (eight domestic and one in the UK) plus

the Corporate Office. A total of 1800 people were employed. Quality

programs helped company to expand from 200 to 250 million in sales while

reducing quality and manufacturing costs from 6.7 % to less than 2 % in two

years. Company was sold and all Corporate Office positions were eliminated

Jan. 91- July 98: Division Quality Systems Manager, Corporate

Headquarters, for Cooper Automotive, Chesterfield, MO (Wagner Lighting,

Champion Spark Plug, ANCO Wiper Products, MOOG Automotive, etc.) - a 2.1

Billion dollar company employing over 10,000 people worldwide. Company was

sold to Federal-Mogul with all Corporate Office positions being eliminated.

Pre 1991: Full time employment as a Quality Engineer in Manufacturing and

on a Nuclear Power Plant. Product lines include: Nuclear Power Plant

Licensing and Operations, Tier I Automotive Manufacturing and Electrical

Distribution Equipment.
