Experience Histotechnician 2

2001 – 2014 Allina Health Minneapolis, MN

I performed routine histolory such as; embedding, cutting, frozen sections, accessioning, and special stains.

I also assisted with grossing and worked with the processors.

As an HT2 I was a person people could come to with any questions. These questions were about customer issues, Pathologist issues, or any technical problems anyone had.

Abbott Northwestern Histology Supervisor

2006 – 2009 Abbott Northwestern Hospital Minneapolis, MN

During this time I was in charge of the histology labs day to day operation.

I had 15 Histology Technicians that I Supervised on a 24 hour bases.

Some of the other extra duties I had at this time were; making out the schedules for employees time off and benches for each day, interviewing new hires and students, and giving employee reviews.

Also during this time I still did the routine histology for each day.
