Project Title "TOUCH SCREEN BASED HOME AUTOMATION

FOR FUTURE GENERATION"

> Team size : 4

> Duration : 3 months

> Key Role : To operate Appliances easily

> Environment : Embedded Systems

> Description : This project deals with appliances

control systems in house hold

Purpose.In order to achieve this, a

touch panel is interfaced to the

microcontroller on transmitter side

which sends ON/OFF commands to the

receiver where loads are connected. By

touching the specified portion on the

touch screen panel, the loads can be

turned ON/OFF remotely through wireless

technology. The loads are interfaced to

the microcontroller which comprise of

RF/Zigbee technology. The power supply

consists of a step down transformer

230/12V, which steps down the voltage to

12V AC. This is converted to DC using a

Bridge rectifier and it is then

regulated to +5V using a voltage

regulator.The machine will be on/off

without any interruption of others when

a person touches the touch screen

sitting at one place.
