Description JCPenney has chosen to implement Oracle
Retail Application Suite that will replace
the JCPenney's complex IT Landscape of
merchandising applications on the legacy
systems. This new system will position
JCPenney to become America's Favorite Store
by streamlining operations, reducing
redundancy and improving the cross-channel
customer experience which will enable
efficient merchandising operations management
and more accurate planning and optimization.
The project will be implemented in multiple
phases and has involved many areas of the
business. Presently, only the foundation data
and Planning Applications has gone live and
next planned schedule is to go live with
Items management, Pricing and Sales Audit. I
am working on the Item management and pricing
module including conversion and Back fill to
legacy systems.

Description Sainsbury's, the third largest chain of
supermarkets in the United Kingdom using RMS
V9 (For Grocery) and RMS V10 (For Non-Foods)
as their core merchandising activities.
Executed the below two projects:-
1). RMS Release 2 Enhancement project, which
encompasses enhancing RMS replenishment
process, Truck Splitting and Scaling
functionality, RMS to RSS Delivery status
interface and External Allocation upload.
2). Faster Simpler Clearance and Promotion,
which encompasses enhancing clearance and
promotion screens with CSV upload facility,
Customization to create generic advertising
linked to clearance and promotion and
enabling stores print adverts.
3). Worked on proposal of Consignment &
Concessionaire project, which requires
enabling Consignment functionality in RMSV10
to fit Sainsbury requirement and
customization to introduce concessionaire
functionality(As, RMSV10 doesn't have
concessionaire functionality).
With Non Foods growth set to continue, the
Non Food Transformation programme is an
ongoing portfolio of projects focussed on
either fully utilising RMS V10 functionality
or creating new functionality in order to
meet operational growth requirements. RMS V10
Release 2 is one of these projects.

Application Suite to support the growth and
expansion of the company. Lifestyle has
chosen Oracle Retail Application suite
Version 12.0.10 IN (RMS, RPM, ReSA, ReIM,
OSIM and Allocation) with India Localization
feature, to support the India specific
taxation structure and also to execute a
broad range of core merchandising activities,
including item maintenance, inventory
replenishment and management, purchasing,
vendor management etc. India Localization
feature covers the functionality of Multiple
MRP and Configurable VAT concept mainly.
TCS executed the implementation project by
providing best solutions, to efficiently
bridge the gap of Lifestyles core business
processes and the standard core functionality
of the Oracle Retail Application.

Description Abercrombie & Fitch implements Oracle Retail
Merchandising System that replaces the
current merchandising applications on the
legacy system. This new system will position
ANF for the future by streamlining processes,

support the growth and international

The project has been implemented in two
phases and has involved many areas of the
business. I was working on the phase 2
implementation of Oracle Retail RMS which
involves customization and implementation of
stock ledger, inventory management, Price
Management, Warehouse Management,
International, Sales audit, PO work room and
SL to GL Interface. Additionally, all
remaining merchandising programs on the
legacy system, which doesn't support by RMS,
will be converted to the new system.

Project Ashok Leyland Enterprise System

Description The Application software named as "Ashok
Leyland Enterprise System".
The Project involved, maintenance and
enhancement of "Ashok Leyland Enterprise
System", an ERP package developed for Ashok
Leyland, earlier. Ashok Leyland is a market
leader of commercial vehicles in India. Its
goals are to improve production efficiency,
access consolidated information easily to
improve internal processes, ensure high
availability eliminating single points of
failure, scale with at low incremental cost
and ease integration with indigenous
applications. Prompted by its desire to
consolidate systems and lower costs, the
company moved to an Oracle platform in 2001
and subsequently migrated to Oracle9i Real
Application Clusters and Oracle9iAS. Ashok
Leyland has developed a centralized ERP
system, which caters to their manufacturing,
financials, marketing, sales, exports and
distribution activities.
The ERP system has been implemented in Ashok
Leyland's six manufacturing units and 60
locations across India. ``This system
seamlessly integrates all the manufacturing
units providing a 360 degree view of the
entire organization," Now, Wipro has got the
project of enhancement of new modules and
maintenance of the ERP system.
Role I am responsible for developing of Exports
Module for the ERP system, which is a new
module incorporated. We, a team from Wipro,
are working onsite in Ashok Leyland for this
project.

Project Bar-Code Online Product Tracking System
Customer Hindusthan Paper Corporation Ltd.

Description Hindusthan Paper Corporation Limited is one
of the today's large Papers manufacturing
company in the India. HPCL's brands and
products are the focus of continual
innovation and renovation so that they meet
and exceed the consumer's expectations. HPCL
has a 24*7 hour plant and the plant is fully
dependent on our system and I was the only
resident engineer from CMC Ltd., posted out
there for maintenance of the application
software and the Database.
The application Software is named, as BROPTS
(Bar-coded Online Product Tracking System),
that provides full tracking of the product
starting from the parent roll Generation to
ream/roll despatch using barcode labels. The
main objective of the application Software is
to on-line tracking of finished and
unfinished products right from parent roll
generation to despatch. All the final
products have EAN-13 bar-coded product code.
That helps the customer in meeting the
government regulations on export of
commodities.
Role I was responsible for development of the
Distribution and Paper Machine Module and
also building some reports based on that. I
was also responsible for periodically take
the back up of the database, Recovery of the
database in case of failure also managing the
whole database
