• Utilized a business model canvas to outline the customer target market, resources,
revenue streams, value creating activities, key partners, cost structure, and customer
relationships that would help drive a successful self-starter business.
• Completed a semester-long project working with a representative of the Shenandoah
Valley Builder’s Association (SVBA) to create a form of business writing. Tasks included
the design process of a brochure, content management, and workflow control. Through
the work with the client in the SVBA, I acquired skills in the formatting of professional
writing in the form of letters, memos, emails, and agendas for meetings.
• Worked with MS Excel using the Premium Solver Tool in developing, analyzing, and
interpreting models to give insight to decision makers. Using this tool, I performed
quantitative what-if analyses across the business spectrum including risk analysis,
demand/sales forecasting, queuing, staff scheduling, resource allocation, and production
planning.
