Contracted to lead a team of 4 technicians for a project called Digital
Journey where sears is placing iPads and iTouches with sears associates to
help customers find products in the store or on the web. My team and I
would contact the stores after they received there ipads and itouches. We
would walk the store manager through setting up the devices on the sears
network and how to use the devices. Then we would remote into the devices
and install and setup the devices to sears specified configuration.

Next day support for night-time migration of title offices around the
country. Using Active Directory to manage users and computer accounts. Help
users having issues after migration with legacy apps and new location of
shared data. Performed daytime user migration of laptops that could not be
connected to at night. Performed bandwidth testing and analysis on what
offices and data centers need upgrading.

Lead a team of 6 technicians installing new Dell 2900 application server at
400+ sears retail stores by remote. Then brought on to Off the Mall
Hardware Stores to Lead the techs as it was similar to last project. Sears
Quality Maintenance personal would setup the server physically at the site,
then call the Server Queue and one of the technicians would use DRAC (Dell
Remote Access Controller) into the server and install new image and setup
servers software. My main responsibilities besides installing servers. To
set the schedule for the team, the QMT's at the store, handled all out of
box failures with Dell Support. I am the go between for my team and 3rd
level Sears IT Support. At Sears Hardware stores we had to also image new
workstations and setup network printers, wireless access points and
wireless handhelds.
Last project is Kmart pharmacy IVR (Instant Voice Response) server upgrade,
required to get HEPA certified. Working with Unix OS on old Axiom IVR,
backing up data and then restoring and programming new HP IVR's.

Lead tech for Exchange migration project and Windows XP re-image project.
Migrated 900 mailboxes from old domain onto one new corporate domain.
Exported user's data to .pst's and then importing them onto the new
exchange server.
Re-image project took my team of 2 techs across the Midwest. We backed up
users profile, printer drivers, and favorites. Took screen shots of all
important programs and information. Then re-imaged computer with the new
corporate Windows XP pro standard image, and reinstalled any additional
software that the users needed.
After reimaging project was assigned to Internal Network\Desktop Support
and handled 10 -15 tickets a day using Remedy software.

Working as administrator on a migration project in Rockwall, Texas and
Reynosa, Mexico for Sine Systems in Michigan. Upgraded 6 servers from
Windows 2000 to 2003, migrated the Exchange 2000 server to 2003 & built a
new terminal server. Maintained network stability and availability.
Upgraded an exchange 5.5 site to Exchange 2003 for NSF International at
locations in Ann Arbor Michigan, San Diego, California and Brussels
Germany. Also added a Front End Outlook Web server so all could access
email from one location.

Directory Domain. Reduced and consolidated 15 exchange 5.5 servers in to 4
exchange 2000 servers for Mail boxes in US. Installed 2 SMTP exchange 2000
servers for redundancy. Designed development plan for migration of NT 4.0
domains to Windows 2000 Active Directory single domain. Managed a team of 4
technicians. Designed and configured with LAN administrator Active
Directory 2000 for 5000 Users. Installed and configured Windows 2000 domain
controllers. Installed a new Windows 2000 domain and used ADMT to migrate
users from NT4.0 to Windows 2000 domain. Decommissioned NT4.0 domains.

Keesler Air Force Base
Assigments included managing and maintaining and secured all base servers
and computers. First trained in Novell OS, then weeks after finishing
training was retrained in Microsoft NT and windows 95. Major project during
my time was upgrading all servers on the base from novell 3.2 to windows NT
4.0. Then wipe and install on all base office computers with windows 95
with office 95. New duties included password recovery, email recovery,
configuring user profiles, running training seminar to train officers and
enlisted airmen on win 95 and office 95 basics. In March of 1998 I left
active duty and transferred to USAF Reserves with the 927th Air Refueling
Wing at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. I worked in the comm flight for
2 years maintaining the 927th's servers and computers till resigned my
position in july of 2000.
