Marketing/Recruitment: As a program coordinator I promoted the psychology undergraduate major and its
programs through events, social media and community outreach. In total I have over eight years of experience
working with and recruiting potential students.
Data Analysis/System Administration: At Florida State University I worked with the Office of Institutional
Research, collecting and recording data used for program evaluation and improvement. In addition, I was
responsible for the completion of the graduation reports and graduation clearances for over 2000 students in
the psychology department.
Relationship development: My current and previous positions have required me to develop instant connections
and understanding with those who visit my office. I have always worked with a diverse population, all from
different backgrounds and with varying issues.
Public Speaking: I have extensive experience speaking and presenting to large groups. At Florida State
University I delivered presentations to market and promote the university and its programs. In my current
position at the Florida Institute of Technology I instruct University Experience, a course that helps students
adjust to the university and acquire essential academic survival skills.
Event Management: As a program coordinator at Florida State University I promoted, planned, and coordinated
program events. I have experience developing new events and programs as well as experience working with
event budgets and restrictions.
