Senior Production Planner / Estimator The Protective Group Inc. Miami
Lakes, FL
Responsible for all of the forecast planning, scheduling, inventory status
updating, and production coordination and related reporting criteria.
Create all purchase orders, negotiate component pricing, terms and
deliveries. Create MRP, organize and run the daily production meeting,
reporting open sales order status and daily shipment and order bookings.
Track financial results of sales and shipments on a daily/weekly/monthly
basis as required. Create new product structures in system, with complete
bill-of-materials and calculated yield factors. Coordinate all new product
generation and implementation with the Product Managers, engineering
department, and contracts department when generating proposals. Analyze raw
material standard cost working with cost accounting annually to set
standards for the next fiscal year and set standard costs for all working
products and components. Issue product forecast/sales projections for the
manufacturing area on a yearly basis, with 3-month updates if necessary.
Coordinate with engineering on ECR, DCR implementations. Lead "Lean"
implementation initiatives throughout materials departments including
planning, inventory control, warehouse, and purchasing."

Finished Goods Planner (Hematology Products) Beckman-Coulter Inc., 700 W.
83rd Street, Hialeah, FL
Responsible for forecasting, planning, and packaging orders for Hematology
product lines. Load and ensure accuracy of all shop floor orders. Update
bill-of-materials as required. Allocate materials to orders as needed based
on demand; verify required documentation and specifications. Issue
daily/weekly schedules to production floor for builds on a rolling timeline
forecast. Schedule builds for subassemblies to match system requirements
for finished goods products. Weekly reporting performed on anticipated
scrap, shop floor load and volume, and materials requirements. Implement
revision changes per specifications. Prepare and publish reports on monthly
shipments, WIP, and excess and obsolete materials. Research, prepare and
publish company-wide inventory report with weekly updates.
Reduced finished goods scrap from 3 million annually to less than 1 million
in my first year, with continuing improvements each year since.

New Products Planner/ Supply/Demand planner Johnson & Johnson

Responsible for all planning, forecasting, and coordinating movement of
materials for launching and validating new products in our Juarez, Mexico
facility from 2002-2004.
Supply Planner III Planning scheduling reporting the manufacturing of the
balloon catheters and self-expanding stents. Coordinate with our facility
in the Netherlands to schedule their production and delivery requirements
for the catheter subassemblies in order to meet final assembly and sales
schedules to avoid any finished goods shortages. Support order management
with supply availability information, including weekly P.T.S. report and
weeks-of-supply report. Load and ensure accuracy of all bill-of-materials
in the system, including master scheduling criteria, forecast and component
percentages, and costs. Prepare and publish updated supply information for
each of the product families. Identify supply/demand imbalances and make
corrections with supply facility.
