EXPERIENCE:
Product Engineer
Carts Food Equipment.
Brooklyn, Prospect Park, 2012- 2014
From conception worked with a five-member Engineer team and customers to create sheet metal products,
structural components and assemblies in CAD software (Solid Works/ Solid Edge ST5 /Autocad/cadkey99/Ap100
us ). Managed all phases of the design and development process for a multitude of products, components, parts,
assemblies and subassemblies, including drafting, dimensioning, tolerancing, prototyping and documenting
results. Coordinated and supervised technicians in fabrication and installation of complex mechanical and related
electronic equipment and systems. Directed field operation and maintenance activities of mechanical
equipment/systems installations. Known for quality excellence and a “do-it-right-the-first-time” design standard.
Insured internal sales specifications and the related engineering bill of materials are consistent and produce the
expected results. Worked closely with sales to configure customer specifications into standard body designs.
Revised drawings and bills of material to meet customer and manufacturing requirements. Researched latest
manufacturing processes and liaisoned with local vendors to manufacture products. RESULTS: Completed projects
and prepared product for manufacturing under a given budget and required deadlines. Developed new assemblies
that accelerated client production line speed by up to 25%.
Mechanical Engineer
Metalfab.inc
Vernon, NJ, 2011-2012
Contract
Worked with product engineers to achieve optimum manufacturability of products. Provided cost estimates for all
standards. Collaborated with cross-functional groups (Product Management, Manufacturing and Quality,
suppliers) to resolve product-related customer and production issues. Created sheet metal and structural
components and assemblies in CAD software (SolidWorks/Autocad) for pre -steamer bin activators, live bins, bulk
bag unloaders, Better-Weigh™ loss-of-weight feeders, belt feeders, Convey-All™/FSC Flexible Screw Conveyors,
Convey-All™/VTC Vibratory Tube Conveyors, spin loaders, and continuous mixers GENERATED full engineering
documentation including detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings, bills of materials and performance
specifications for products. Insured internal sales specifications (Quote Writer) and the related engineering bill of
materials are consistent and produce the expected results. Wrote basic sales specifications for Quote Writer.

Mechanical Engineer
Us Department of energy
Project Name; Solar Decathlon, 2010-2011
Contract
GENERATED industrial-design concepts for Triodetic Space-frame. Engineered structural Galvanized & Stainless
Steel, Aluminum, Composites, & Factory-applied finished frames from conception. Applied company’s design
philosophies and buyers specifications to device products. Created 2D and 3D mechanical drawings of projects.

Mechanical Engineer
City University of New York, NY.
Project Name; Urban Wind Turbines, 2009-2010
CONCEPTUALIZED and refined designs for wind turbines. Researched on materials and manufacturing processes
to meet design criteria. Engineered plastic and sheet-metal parts from conception. Created 2D and 3D mechanical
drawings of projects. Liaisoned with local and overseas vendors to manufacture products.
RESULTS: Completed projects and met initial design ideas. Project was awarded first place for best and most
innovated engineering project for the engineering faculty.
Mechanical Engineering Internship 2009-2010
National oceanic and atmospheric Administration (NOAA) CREST
Project Name; winds on Africa’s precipitation patterns
Analyzed satellite data from 1997-2008 created models for global wind and precipitation patterns. Used C++,
Matlab and Python software, to find correlations between the two variables. Correlations where then mapped to
focus on specific regions of Africa. From location environmental variables were obtain to explain causation. My
observations assisted the development of more accurate precipitation prediction models. RESULTS: Completed
project and was selected to represent (NOAA) to present findings in El Paso at a poster presentation.
