Job description: As a “crew member” I was given daily instructions to work certain areas of

the shop, such as: coffee, sandwiches', or operate a register to process customer orders and box

donuts. As a “baker”, I would come in at night when the store was closed and ensure that donuts

and specialty items were baked fresh and ready to serve everyday. I would bake according to

product sheets that would be set out for me to ensure that enough items were baked for the day

and extra in case of a rush of customers and more donuts were needed during the day. As a “shift

leader” I took on similar responsibilities as of an “assistant manager” due to my experience in all

three aspects of the job, my duties were to overlook the daily shifts, tasks, and responsibilities. I

was in charge of the crew members of the shift I was working, but I would also be working the

register, making coffee, and preparing food for the customers. If we were to run out of donuts

during the day, I had the experience to make more donuts quickly and efficiently in order to keep

the day running smoothly. I was also in charge of counting the safe and daily cash deposits when

opening the store, running a day shift, or closing the store. I also took cash deposits to the bank

and ensured that all financial aspects, both loss and gain, were recorded and accounted for and

that our safe count and register counts were accurate.
