Responsible for the management of transportation through the supply chain and into a division, or a
third party customer location. Single point of contact for logistics issues for my region. Ensure perfect
shipment performance and lowest landed cost for assigned customers. Manage multiple origins and\or
destinations resulting in 500+ new sales orders per week. Monitor and track (through alerts) up to 1,000
open Purchase Orders to maximize KPI's. Work with JD Edwards's system and Mercury Gate system to
ensure load parameters are accurate and orders generated meet performance indicators (freight margin).
Build relationships and work with internal and external customers; customers as inventory managers, receiving
personnel, supply chain management, Program management, accounting, pricing, truckload and LTL carrier
contacts.
