SELECTED CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS
CONSTRUCTION / PROJECT MANAGEMENT
• Directed and coordinated all activities pertaining to the construction of new retail sites, the remodeling of existing
stores, and re-branding and brand-compliance initiatives.
• Managed capital improvement projects, corporate office build-outs, employee relocations, call-center design and
construction, and specialty construction ventures for non-profit organizations.
• Worked within a set construction budget and created cost schedules for each project; consistently completed
assignments on time and under budget.
• Wrote detailed Scopes of Work for each construction project including CAD-based layouts & 3D designs used as
architectural prints, blue prints for permitting, and General Contractor’s drawings.

FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

tracking of completion results.
• Secured, hired, and directed contractors and external service providers in each of the retail markets, providing
support and maintenance for the retail facilities and corporate buildings.

Merchandising, District Managers, and others as needed to determine scope of work required. Issued work orders,
monitored work performed, maintained proper records, and maintained total account payable functions to outside
vendors.
BUDGETING / COST MANAGEMENT
• Worked with Sales and Finance Department to establish the initial budget of the Facilities Department.
• Successfully reduced construction costs between 47% - 55% over past store build-outs through lease negotiations,
layouts and design, space planning, and aggressive negotiations with contractors and suppliers to manage costs.
• Redesigned functions and procedures at a Mission Critical high security building and reduced overall security costs
by sixty-six (66%) percent.
• Reviewed and approved all invoices pertaining to facilities and construction. Ensured all approved invoices were
submitted on a timely basis and accounted for within the project budget.
