RELEVANT PROJECTS:
• Linkages Syntheses: Worked in a team of 4 to design and build a three-position Fourbar
L inkages with dwell mechanism for moving a line on a platform through three prescribed
positions using graphical technique. Verified using analytical approach along with detail
engineering drawings for each part, Bill of Materials, motion simulation and a DXF file for use in
p rogramming the CNC Machine. Met or exceeded all design specifications
• FEA Analysis using various Mesh Density and Element Type : Created finite element
models of the beam where 1,2 and 8 20-noded brick elements and 1,2 and 8 4-noded tetrahedral
elements were modeled through the thickness of the beam. Utilized FEMAP and ABAQUS to
i nvestigate accuracy and run time of thus created mode as a function of number of elements and
elements type
