Interim Curator of T. Taylor Warren Collection, UNCC Special Collections -
Charlotte, NC
September 2007 to May 2009 (student position while at UNCC)
As a student-employee, I was tasked with re-doing and creating an entire
library manuscript collection. The collection consisted of over 350 cubic
feet of NASCAR memorabilia. I had to analyze the various pieces, group them
coherently, and make them accessible to future researchers. This consisted
of creating new series and subseries of information, numbering the
collection, labeling over 140 cubic foot boxes and thousands of folders,
and maintaining an extensive Microsoft Word inventory. I finished the
collection upon graduating college.
