ACTIVITIES/ORGANIZATIONS

• Former member of the Student Health and Leadership Council for the Student Health Center for the University of New

Mexico. As a member of this council, I aided the director and staff of the health center in making sure students had

proper accessibility to the health center and advocated preventative health care.

• Former President of the Black Student Union on the University of New Mexico campus. We hosted events for black

history month and educated students on the issues occurring in the Darfur region. Also Black Student Union

participated hosted a series of social and educational events to educate members of the African American community

on issues affecting the school and the nation.

HOBIES

• I play basketball in my spare time

• I have recently completed a half marathon (11/10/2013).

• I like to make different types of lotions specifically for the winter months
