PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
For over 3 years I have gained technological, management and design experience sustaining my
own software development business. Originally, my mobile development expertise was obtained
through online courses from prestigious universities as well as the study of highly rated
textbooks covering the latest technologies. Since then, I have gained an amplitude of practical
experience launching various applications. Here are some of the projects that I have developed:
KID CALL
A hybrid mobile application deployed in both the Apple App Store and the Google Play store.
This app is designed for families with small children. Parent’s enter the contact information and
photo for people they would like their child to be able to call, then the child is able to simply tap
the photo to launch voice and video calls. The core user experience is implemented using
HTML5, CSS and JavaScript, technologies which easily port to various operating systems. The
core functionality is implemented natively in the iOS and Android platforms to ensure speed and
reliability. This app utilizes native data storage, camera features, analytics services and social
integration. Available in the Apple and Google Play app stores.
JOBTROT
At it’s core, a project management application for iOS with the distinctive of tracking the user’s
location to be reported back to the project leader. This app is designed for a client who manages
field crew on various properties. The app features native data storage (Core Data), custom view
animations, location awareness, photo integration and web service integration. iOS and Java Web
App, not yet available in the app store.
KEEP FOR TNTMPD
A massive endeavor and highly complex project. This app features a custom sync service
integrating with Google Drive and Dropbox as well as wired data transfer through iTunes. The
app integrates with a third party desktop software (which I do not manage) that is essentially a
user interface tacked on top of a Microsoft Access (JET) database. The project features several
components in addition to the very powerful iOS app, including a desktop application I wrote in
Java; Google Drive script written in JavaScript and responsible for the sync process as well as
providing REST API; and most recently a cloud app hosted in Google App Engine written in
Java and responsible for Dropbox integration. Available in the Apple app store.
ENCOMPASS
A simple hybrid app. I designed and developed this app from the ground up for a client’s
company. This app features a native shell and model to enhance user experience and app
performance, and view and controller components in HTML5 and JavaScript utilizing a
responsive library to maximize screen-size compatibility. Android and iOS, available in the
Apple app store.
