Accomplishments

(code wri t ten in Java, C hardware, (Dell servers and desktop computers)
and connectivity (using M icrosoft Networking) required for EDI operations in
Tallahassee. I supported java based data exchange software which allowed
users to submit H IPAA compliant data sets and obtain responses. This
software was used in the dial-up application as well as the internet based
data exchange. The last change I made to the software was to allow inbound
271 claims for the state of New Hampshire. This software was for multiple
clients and client specific edits were part of the software.

My responsibilities included the maintenance of the Maryland work zone
website. The updating process for the pages required data to be obtained
f rom a Microsoft 2008 database using custom queries and the accurate
t ransfer of such data to the site in a t imely manner. A project to automate
t he upkeep of the site was being planned. Other duties included client report
creation, client database repair and CiteWeb redesign using the open source
A lfresco document control tool.

My responsibilities included the creation and hosting of the original ACS-
GCRO.com website. Several EDI sites were modeled after ACS-GCRO.com.
T hese locations offered data delivery and submission services to dialup users.
T he dial up data delivery/acceptance and validation, java based, were a part
of my EDI duties for over 14 years. I was involved in the data t ransfer to the
t ranslation services from the clients and the data t ransfer from the t ranslator
back to the clients. I was a member of the team that developed the EDI
p rocess in Tallahassee for Consultec back in 1994 with the clients Access Med
P lus and Physicians Corporation of America.
