Perform daily routine microbiological testing, including aseptic sample
collection, testing and data entry via a LIMS system within the QC
Microbiology laboratory in support of in-process and bulk drug substance
production, incoming raw materials, and utility and environmental
monitoring testing to support Pilot Plant Operations. Duties include but
are not limited to; endotoxin testing, bioburden analysis, conductivity and
pH testing, viable and non-viable air sampling, facility-wide environmental
monitoring, microbial identification through the Vitek 2 Compact system,
management, analysis, and data entry of in-process samples, and validation
of incoming raw materials.

Responsible for the sampling and testing of Samuel Adams Beer, Twisted Tea
products, and Angry Orchard hard cider products. Lab work included gas
chromatography, spectrophotometry and associated sample preparation at
various wavelengths, sulfur dioxide titrations, haze analysis, use and
maintenance of automated alcolyzer, pH, and conductivity meters. Laboratory
work focused on the testing of beer, tea, and cider products at all stages
of production to ensure conformity to company specifications and data entry
via a LIMS system.
