Engineering Coordinator – Motorola Inc. Plantation Fl.
Directed and coordinated planning and logistics for several long-term projects of building
prototype p.c. boards or complete units. This involved working with the suppliers, design team and
assembly company to schedule the parts delivery and build and test the units. This position was in
the iDEN Subscriber Division which Designs and develops cell phones for companies such as Nextel
/Sprint and Southern Company.
Lab Technician / Technical Writer - Motorola Inc. Plantation Fl.
Wrote and implemented Field Service manuals for cell phones and reduced customer returns
by 20%. Also wrote test procedures for manufacturing these units to verify functionality and quality.
Worked with engineering development team to design new models, perform root cause analysis and
correct failures. Other duties included troubleshooting p c boards and soldering SMT and thru hole
devices under a microscope and camera.
Metrology Technician – AMPLICA Inc. Newbury Park, Ca
My responsibilities were to test calibrate and repair electronic test equipment as well as
mechanical measuring devices. Also assigned to maintain documents and procedures and provide
information for audits. The electronic equipment was oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal
generators, logic analyzers and DMM’s. Mechanical devices included gages, thermometers and
calipers. I held a DOD confidential security clearance while employed at this position.
Manufacturing Technician – Hughes Aircraft. El Segundo, Ca
Responsible for testing and analyzing hybrid modules for F-14, F-15 and F-18 electronic
packages. These included Analog, R.F. and digital devices.
I held a DOD secret security clearance while employed at this position.
Education
I graduated from Electronic Technology at Columbus Technical College- Columbus Georgia
I also have taken numerous technical courses as well as classes on Microsoft programs, including
Excel, Word and Power Point. I am proficient with computers. I have held A FCC radiotelephone
License and have submitted and received approval for type acceptance of 2-way radios.
