responsible for all business development and revenue generation. In 6
months grew the business from 8 to 10 million in revenue. Personally
managed the 3 largest firms in DC and handled government sales, bids,
contracts and compliance work.

Senior Director of Sales 2011 – 2013
Vocus is an online Digital Marketing organization that delivers SasS
services. Managed 6 Sales Directors and 72 Sales Reps. Rapid growth
and new product deployment has taken our division from zero to $10
Million in one year. Implemented an extensive sales training and sales
certification process for rapid development. We focus on enterprise sales
and teach solution selling. We require specific call metrics, demo targets
and forecasting methodology to put ourselves in the best position to
achieve success. We instituted lead scoring and marketing campaigns to

Director Inside Sales 2007 – 2011
Costar is a Commercial Real Estate vendor that delivers massive database
SaaS services. Manage 2 Sales Managers and 50 Sales Reps. National
sales organization that exceeded quota every year. I was selected to run an
internal division during the recession. This entrepreneurial opportunity
netted a P&L $6 Million in year one and $15 Million in year two. Hired
trained and developed sales professionals directly out of college and had
the only profitable division in the company for two years. Created
specific career path development plans to transition high performers to
territory managers.
Cogent Communications Inc.
Director of International Sales and Operations 2003 –2006
Cogent is a provider of backbone Internet bandwidth and collocation services.
My team delivered Sales and Support functions for Sales teams in North America
and Europe. Team was responsible for Order Entry and Contract Administration.
We developed the Sales Agent and Channel Management program and wrote and
supported the commission plans. I managed the international sales organization
of a dozen account managers in Europe and delivered $3 Million in Wholesale
revenue per year.
Consulting 2000 – 2002
I served as a management consultant for numerous technology companies. Roles
included General Manager, VP of Sales and Marketing and all aspects of Sales
Operations. I was responsible for growing revenue, go-to-market strategies, sales
training, order entry, compliance, sales force administration, order management
and change management.

As a startup local telecommunications company we launched the Sales
Operations functions designed to support a 500 person sales organization. I
managed a budget of $6 Million. We developed our Agent Channel sales team
and an Inside Sales team. My team managed the order entry function processing
over $1.5 Million in sales per month. We developed our training program and
processed 500 sales reps through our university program. I wrote and
administered 15 commission plans and implemented web based CRM and sales
reporting. I managed our International operations functions negotiating with
foreign governments for wireless broadband spectrum.
