Handling the entire responsibilities of Mill Operations. This mill Produces multi layer kraft paper

and the quality ranges from 16 B.F to 28 B.F . This mill Capacity is enhanced to 150 Tons/day. It

is one of the leading mills producing high burst kraft paper. This process includes 5 formers, 3

Press part, Pre dryers, M.G & Post Dryers we have Size Press to give External Sizing for Kraft

paper. Moreover we have calendar stack to get the good finish of the paper

Period : Febraury 2012 to March 2013

Designation : Senior General manager (operations)

This mill produces multilayer kraft paper with gsm ranging from 100gsm to

400gsm and the quality ranges from 14 B.F to 30 B.F. Our capacity is enhanced to 125 tons per

day. We are supplying to various automatic plants to make Samsung, nokia,dell and other reputed

concerns..It is one of leading supplier of multi layer kraft paper in south india.

7. SUBAM PAPER MILL LTD:

Period : April 2013 to still working

Designation : Vice president (operations)

I have joined as vice president in Subam paper mill Ltd from April 2013.

Here I am responsible for operations in all paper mills in subam Group.

PAPER MACHINE 1

This is producing 80 Tons per day of multi layer Kraft paper, which is being

supplied to all automatic corrugation plants in south India. Pulp mill consist of 2

streets, having all equipments like high consistency pulper, ATS pulper, Primary

and secondary turbo separator, fractionators, low consistency centricleaners, hill

screens and rotary thickness.5 pressure screens are employed at approach flow

system for thorough cleaning of pulp.

Paper machine consists of 5 formers and 3 press parts including hydraulic

loaded third press, which can be loaded 200kg per cm, there are 16 dryers along

with MG.cylinder for glazing the paper

PAPER MACHINE II

One more machine is being erected for producing 250tonnes per day multilayer

kraft paper to meet the demand of valuable customer.

This pulp mill consists of D Pulper and accessories like fiber saver and

trommel screen. Many types of equipment are included in pulp mill like low

consistency pressure screens, low consistency centric cleaner system. Suitable

thickness is available for removing the contraries present in the pulp.

Paper machine is having double wire, three heavy nip presses and dryers. Size

press is available for giving surface coating and internal sizing chemicals are

added at size press suitable calendar will improve the smoothness of paper. All

Q.C.S. system is available for maintaining and controlling consistency, basis

weight and moisture of the paper.

This machine will satisfy the needs of quality high burst kraft paper consumers

We are operating at minimum energy consumption and power consumption

which will comparable with efficient paper manufacturers. Our yield is around

90% which is also comparable with efficient paper manufacturers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1 To Ensure complete responsibility of Production Department including utilities.

2 To Ensure Quality of Products at all stages of manufacturing process.

3 To Ensure quality of Packaging.

4 To Communicate with marketing, purchase & despatch department for timely supply &

dispatch of materials.

5 To ensure execution of planned preventive maintenance.

6 To monitor the product cost at each stage of processing.

7 To Approve the blend of ingredients of different composition for making a product.

8 To take decision for reprocessing regarding rejection of products not meeting normal

specification.

9 To co-ordinate with QC Lab and logistics Department to meet marketing chemical

requirement.

10 To prepare yearly, quarterly & monthly raw material calculations

11 To update the knowledge & skill Managers, Officers & Subordinates in the area of

production.

12 To Maintain relation with all level of employee to ensure smooth production activities.

Will be responsible for manufacturing and overall activities.

Other Contributions and Achievements

1. Taking maximum effort to reduce the fresh water consumption as ground water

level is going down gradually

2. Achieved zero effluent discharge in Mira textiles and industries (I) limited,paper

division and MSP paper mill private limited .

3. Monitoring the load and power consumption everyday and ensure the effective

running of all equipments to reduce power consumption.

4.Steam is the prime energy for paper making process and ensure the effective

utilization as well as arrest the leakages if any,

5.continuous involvement in process and product development activity to upgrade our

quality of the product as per market demand.

6. Minimize the fiber loss and reuse in the system will improve the yield as well as to

reduce the load for effluent treatment system.

7. Maximize the use of back water generated in the system and using the fine

screening, we can use the back water into showers also.

8. Having exposure in corrugation box making process and made value added

corrugated boxes for distilleries and breweries

9. To reduce the chemical usage and wet end without affecting the quality parameters

moreover I have good exposure in automation of the process (QCS & DCS operation).

10. Leading the manpower crew up to 200 member in the paper mill and giving training

to Engineers,Supervisors and operators for maintain process parameters, quality

parameters and optimizing the process requirement.

11. Projects: Involved in paper machine project in ITC Bhadrachalam paper boards,

while no2 & no3 machines erection and commissioning activities.

In MSP paper mill, for machine up gradation from 70 tons per day to 150 tons per

day, I was leading the entire team for erection and commissioning of the equipments

and stabilizing the quality of the product.
