1. I am a certified (PMP)®, from PMI, since May, 2010 and already obtained two Project Management

professional Programs from the American university in Cairo, In addition I received my Bachelor of Science

in architecture Cairo University, Faculty of Engineering in 2000. I worked as a project controls/scheduling

Manager at Dar Al-Handasah Consultants for about four years applying my skills to a range of projects-

about 100 projects- managed in Cairo, Beirut & Pune branches simultaneously and as a senior planner for

about seven years. Based on my work and educational experience, and perhaps more importantly because of

my interest and enthusiasm, I think I am well suited to pursue a career in Project Management.

Reporting to the Department manager, I managed a team of 2 control engineers

Duties included:

Preparation of tentative & Baseline time schedules for the projects in the

initiating and planning phases to achieve the stakeholders requirements

within the projects triple constraints of Time, Cost and Quality.

Resources allocation on the master program to reflect the work

schedule requirements

Preparation of Progress monitoring reports, Look ahead and periodical

updates to ensure that the project milestones and deliverables of cost

and time are met in accordance with the target baseline programs using

Earned Value management calculations

Identify projects cost and time overrun risks in a timely manner to allow

and prepare recovery, mitigation and acceleration plans, supported by

the corrective actions required in cases of Slippages, variances from the

measurement baseline during the execution and control phases.

Prepare monthly Time & Cost performance reports using Primavera

Enterprise software version 6.2

Monitor sub-contractors schedules and detailed engineering tasks and

Duties included:

Tendering

Planning schedule of drawing submittal with Primavera Project.

Co-ordination between Architectural, Structural, E\M and Landscaping

Drawings.

Preparing Workshop Drawings of waterproofing details of the hole project

using AUTOCAD.

Sharing in solving site problems & preparing Documents like Request For

Information (RFI), Drawing Field Change (DFC) etc…
