Blaise Diagne International Airport,Senegal, Dakar With a USD450million price tag and located in Diass, 47km outside of Dakar, the construction of the airport was launched under the previous presidency of Abdoulaye Wade in April 2007 and should have lasted 30 months (i.e until October 2009) but has been subject to persistent delays. Construction being carried out by Saudi Arabia's Saudi Binladen Group. All Navigational, communication, meteorological and ATM systems will be installed by Selex under the supervision of SBG/ICAD,
