Dear Director of Recruiting,
I bring the promise of poised leadership, innovative thinking and effective
management that will reduce costs and increase profitability.
Almost fifteen years ago, my professional career began with Chicago Title
as a Systems Engineer. Today, I am a member of the corporate steering
committee charting our next five year business plan, accountable for a
nationwide multi unit territory, their management and credited doubling
annual revenue.
As I consider how to best introduce my value to your organization, these
themes emerge quickly:
o I can make sense of complex business information and provide leadership.
My academic training (MBA candidate) is supported by my current real time
assignment as a member of the corporate steering committee and firmly
establishes my credibility as a strategic thinker with responsibility of
envisioning a successful future for my organization.
o I can fathom enterprise technologies.
My undergraduate degree in computer information systems, and my MCSE
certification, led to the creation of the first e-marketing initiative
within the title industry. Comprehending your enterprise system will
pose no problems, and I will use emerging technology to enhance your
public face.
o I can build, manage and inspire teams.
In my present role, I provide leadership to branch managers and help them
maintain motivation, discipline and production in their various
operations. With your organization, look to me to maintain enthusiasm,
instill a sense of purpose and ensure a sense of equilibrium during
periods of operational volatility.
As you can see, the "trifecta" of advanced business education, computer
information systems certification and hands-on regional operational
experience that has received national recognition all combines to give me
an excellent platform of knowledge, skills and abilities.
I look forward to meeting with you in person, and discussing how I can make
an immediate and effective contribution to your organization.
Sincerely,
Ryan D. Wood
