PERSONAL STATEMENT

who always strives to deliver quality projects that fulfil customer
expectations and who is always keen on taking over new challenges, learning
new technologies and approaches. During my career I have held different
positions which have given me an extraordinary insight on the delivery of
software projects across different industries and channels.
CAREER SUMMARY
May 2011 - ... Reed.co.uk Senior Software Engineer, London
Working within the technology division of a very well-known UK website. I
have worked in the development team migrating the old job board web
site(www.reed.co.uk) which used ASP.NET forms, ADO.NET to a new version
using cutting-edge technologies such as .NET 4.0, ASP MVC3-4, ASP.NET WEB
API, Razor, N2 .NET CMS, NHibernate, Fluent NHibernate, Dapper, Inversion
of Control Windsor Castle, LINQ, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery and
javascript library Knockout. TFS was used for several tasks such as source
code management and tracking of different items such as issues, changes
requests and bugs management but we are currently using Git alongside Jira
for those purposes and Team City as a continuous integration tool.
As a senior member of the development team I take part on analysis,
development, maintenance, and support and architecture definition of
existing and brand new products in the business working closely with the
business analysts in order to deliver business needs and requirements.
Within my tasks I also mentor junior members of the development team on
best practices and frameworks used on our development stack.
Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban are established throughout
development process, extreme programming and pair programming are also
used on specific circumstances. DDD (Domain Driven design) and TDD (Test
Driven Development) approach is used along development process.
Even though vast majority of company s projects are based on Microsoft
technologies, I have been give opportunity to work with Java in a couple
of internal projects mainly because my previous experience on it. First
project consists on developing a framework for testing automation to be
used by the company QA team using Selenium Web Driver and Test Ng, it is
currently used by quality assurance team in order to execute regression
testing automatically in a variety of browsers which has allowed speeding
up software releases.
I am also very actively involved and leading as project manager the
development of an Android application for job seekers as a result of it, I
have been leading a research project to analysis and investigate our
capacity as company to build mobile applications within the business
mainly focusing on Xamarin a platform that create natives apps using c#.
November 2010 - April 2011 Analyst Programmer at EBP Group, London
I worked for this company in a six month contract basis carrying out a
software reengineering process of some legacy applications such as its CRM
and Logistics applications. This process involved a software migration
from Servoy framework to Java technology J2SE as well as a deep
optimization of database queries and stored procedures, MySQL databases
were mainly used although some systems required SQL Server.
As a first migration phase meetings were held with all business units
using the application in order to know their needs and
requirements and analyzed how systems could help them out on their work
processes.
The company also needed a friendly way to access up-to-date reliable data
so they could take wise and quick decisions based on that, I set up and
configured open source Business Intelligence Platform 'Pentaho' developing
several cubes and dashboards which were essential to take decisions and
have a global overview of the business.
October 2009 - October 2010. IT Manager, Trade Commission of Spain,
Bangkok, Thailand

The company commercializes its own software platform, a middleware whose
goal is to integrate data from heterogeneous data sources such as
databases, web services, web pages, files, etc...

sales activities as well as pre-sales consultancy. Post-sales tasks were
very diverse such as gathering and analyzing customer requirements, design
deployment arquitecture depending on customer IT systems and requirements,
configure and customize the platform, coordinate consultant's team working
on the project. A part from the above tasks, every project required
configuration of all information sources and design combination views in
the platform as well as develop J2EE web applications integrated and
connected with the middleware software. Hibernate, Spring and MVC Wicket
frameworks were used for backend whereas front-end were based on jQuery,
CSS, html, xhtml. A large number of projects were deployed on Unix
platforms using Red Hat or Debian.

Union Fenosa as well as international companies such as Astra Zeneca.
As a project manager, I participate in a project for Jazztel during 6
months developing a web application for its massive call center. It
