EXPERIENCE

Prepress, Spartan Graphics Inc, Sparta MI 2000-2013

Spartan Graphics is a Commercial offset printer in Michigan, a member of the Celia Corp. My

Responsibilities here, while utilizing all the above skills, also found me spearheading projects for

product development and creating standardized procedures for these new products or new

systems of production. I was lead person when the department head was not available. Large

format silk screen printing also became a part of my skill set here as a sister company is a

silkscreen printer. Spartan Graphics Prepress did their direct to screen prepress.

Prepress, Journeyman Press, Newburyport MA 1996-2000

Journeyman Press is a commercial printer serving the Boston area. My Involvement with the

customers projects was from creation to imposed film. My responsibilities ranged from scanning,

color correction, page layout, ripping, trapping and imposing.

Prepress Manager, Aldus Press, Malden MA 1989-1996

Aldus Press is a commercial offset printer . Their products involved art book publications and

education catalogues for many Boston area Universities. As prepress supervisor my

accomplishment here was the transformation of the entire prepress department from the

traditional forms of production to a state of the art electronic workflow based then on Macintosh

workstations and Scitex rip and image setting technologies.
